- In 2006, two suburbanites moved to an 1880s farmhouse on 20 acres in rural Wisconsin and named it "Tuppinz Farm." Heritage breed sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, and a rescued Doberman puppy soon joined them. This blog documents their sometimes surprising experiences acclimating to a "simpler" way of life.

Was thinking of you the other day, I am getting Jim to enlarge a door way so that I will be able to use on of the cool doors we got from you. We are putting it in the entry to block the pantry. I will fill in one of the doorways that was stolen. I think it will look great, will send pictures when job is done. Jim is on the way to pick up 20 more chicks for our egg laying herd.
